Just got back from NYC after assisting a shoot at the Mermaid Parade. My cousin Elize Hendler, a creative professional who also spends her time in the non-profit sector, allowed me to assist her on her annual project entitled the Living Photo Booth, a gig she has participated in for 5 years to assist in funding the Coney Island Museum.
The red backdrop seen in some of my photos from the event are part of the Living Photo Booth's setup for the portraits produced at the parade. I'm not particularly a street or event photographer but found myself capturing elements around the space. Great fun.
