TED.com: Margaret Wertheim
How do you merge mathematics, feminine and domestic craft, environmental activism, and coral?
Margaret Wertheim presents her project of crocheting coral to visualize the connection between hyperbolic geometry and organic forms. Here she is advocating new teaching approaches that bridge play, cerebral concepts, and artforms in an effort to discover new forms of presentation and representation within various scientific fields, expressing her belief that creative processes serve as catalysts to the evolution of ideas.

Printing compliments of Etsy
I love this etsy video, haven't silkscreened with emulsion before but would like to try. The vid is pretty humorous as well, which is a necessity if I am to learn anything. I've been searching around the internet trying to figure out interesting ways to produce promotional copy for myself. Have graphic designer on the job, Casey Moosman, so now I'm thinking about how to produce these. I love the idea of pieces that are handworked, but I'm not sure how plausible it is, if I do it right I think I could come up with something memorable.
